The Museum of Old Newbury is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1877 as the Historical Society of Old Newbury.
The museum holds numerous community icons in public trust. These icons tell the tales of our shared history, and the museum provides a learning center to experience the past firsthand.
Connect to the larger story of American history by supporting local history and celebrating the character of this community.

A gift to the museum - of any size - is an an investment in our future. It helps us:
to engage local students in place-based education
to offer internships to local high school and college students
to create new exhibitions about all aspects of community life
to offer programs, workshops and demonstrations
to preserve our historic landmark buildings
to care for our collections through conservation efforts, and
to maintain a center for research.
