Grab a beer and create your own painting of a Newburyport clipper ship. In the 19th century, Newburyport's wharves bustled with activity. Newburyporters in this era were shipbuilders, captain, seamen, and merchants, and the sea provided their livelihood.
Whether you're a fledgling artist or an experienced painter, professional artist Karen Nastuk will give as much guidance and instruction as needed for you to create your own masterpiece based on ship portraits in the Museum of Old Newbury's collection.
