For one weekend only each December, the Museum of Old Newbury is transformed into a magical winter wonderland.  The museum is spectacularly decorated by local garden clubs, whose creative designs often incorporate rarely displayed pieces from the museum's collection.  Against the historic backdrop of the 1808 Cushing House, each room is like a Christmas card come to life.  

Stop by December 3-5 for our Holiday Open House to enjoy the decorations and get into the holiday spirit.  The open house is free to the public and runs from 10am-4pm daily.

Join us for a kids' storytime on Saturday, December 3 at 11:00am.  Enjoy a festive story by the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree, and afterwards, color a holiday scene and enjoy seasonal treats!
