Wander through Newburyport’s historic Highland Cemetery with a special guide - noted author and historian Ghlee Woodworth, a 12th generation Newburyport native. On this special Juneteenth event, Woodworth will focus on the memorials of Newburyport’s once-thriving Black community, and tell the story of “Guinea village”, the slang term for the Black neighborhood nearby.
